Goodbye and Good Luck

Our morning visits have been fairly good with T. Afternoons are not as good, some tears are shed. We are still unsure why? Could just be the time of day, just after nap or ruining the routine? Another theory from our facilitator; she was doing fine with us until the staff started preparing her for leaving with us and perhaps now each day when we head out to play she thinks she is leaving? She is struggling with wanting to leave and also only knowing 5 years in the baby house. Understandable. They all love and adore her there and she is loved. Yesterday morning we fed her a banana and juice and got a few smiles. We took a chicken toy back for the afternoon and played in the swing and that kept things light. She gave us both hugs at the end of our afternoon visit and each time she says, "goodbye and good luck!" everyone laughs because she is such a little adult! Please continue to pray for Kevin and I as we try to bond with her with all the workers around. They are trying to be so helpful. It is a hard and stressful situation but our girl is worth more than gold!
