We met T this morning. She is sassy! She came in hugged us, said "no thanks" to the stuffed animal and cookies we brought. Took a piece of candy and said "Let's go"! We then headed outside and played stickers and hopped and ran and climbed, we are tired! One other little boy tried to come and be with us and she gave him a good shove and told him to go back to his groupa. She also bossed another little boy around telling him what was what. She seems to see okay but her depth perception is not great so we help her down stairs and walks and such. She ate a banana and I let her drink water from a bottle which amazed her! She did great til she decided it was more fun to hold it in her mouth and spit it out than swallow it and she just laughed at me when I said nyet! Great. She wanted stickers on all her fingers and was very concentrated while doing it. She sat for about 10 minutes just putting stickers on. In fact, at one point, our facilitator said she sighed and said more fingers because she had to cover all her fingers! At one point she made us open the sand boxes and then told us they took all the toys away so it was no fun anymore and to close the box. When we passed the gates of the orphanage she walked right up to them ready to go. She is a smart chick. She knows you get a mama and papa and then you go out the gates! When her groupa went in for lunch she said paka paka and told us we should stay in the yard and wait for her! Our facilitator is getting the biggest kick out of her. We are exhausted but will visit one more time this afternoon for a little while, not too long. God is good.
