Having experience going through a homestudy before made our first visit pretty painless. We knew what to expect and just enjoyed meeting our social worker and chatting for a while. It took about an hour and we discussed our parenting style, religious beliefs and communication styles. Our social worker met our kids and asked them all how they felt about adopting. The consensus was "excited!" They are such a great bunch of kiddos. They were fighting in the car about who would be this child's favorite and it made me smile inside knowing for years this child hasn't had any family fighting over her and now she has all of us to fight for her! Love it!
