The Tooth Fairy

     Our tooth fairy came today in the form of a wonderful dentist and Christian man named Dr. Cole. Kira went in for dental surgery at about 12:30p.m. and was home resting at 2:45p.m. Six crowns and some other fillings and she is resting comfortably. She did great with the anesthesia, thank you God. And physically from the mid nose down seems to be as "normal" as any other kid. My favorite moments with her before surgery: After she took the Versed(the syrup to make her whoozy) Dr. Cole came to check on her and she said, "Hey Docccccttttoooorrr..." Just like, "What up my man?" Then the nurse left our little cubicle and she said, "Bye, I love you." Absolutely made the nurses day! She was so funny!
      The ENT at Denver Children's ordered a sleep study for Kira. Next Friday my wonderful hubby will take her to the clinic and spend the night with her for that.  Sleep studies on tv have always looked uncomfortable to me so we are hoping she sleeps.
     She said a full English sentence yesterday. It wasn't very nice, but it was her first sentence not mimicking us. She said (referring to her play telephone)"Hey, P. telephone mine." She will mimick us using whole sentences, but this was the first truly on her own! She likes to sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and gets particularly enthusiastic when the rain comes and "wash the spider out!" She's getting quite a belly on her from all her eating. She doesn't miss many meals and eats seconds and quite often thirds.
