Ruby is in preschool and goes M-Thursday in the morning. Then she has speech 2Xs a week, OT for an hour a week and PT an hour a week. In between we run to taekwondo, which is doing great things for her balance and she started swimming with the Special Olympics folks this past week. We still haven't figured out how to fit in adaptive dance, but maybe we can get to that this summer?
On the medical front we visited the pediatric podiatrist last month. He doesn't want to do anything as long as she stays pain free. His theory, "why fix what ain't broke." I love him. We saw the hand surgeon 2 wks ago in Denver.They will do both her hands at once, but it won't be until July. Yes, July. Unless a date comes up sooner. So, please pray we get a date sooner rather than later. We are going to a craniofacial conference at the end of June and she has to have 6 wks. to heal before we can go and that is why our date is so late. Well, that and Summer school. They want to give her a boost and put her in the Summer program and get her ready for Kindergarten.
Now, onto the pictures! Ruby got to "suit up" for some taekwondo.
