Our second hive is doing so well that they outgrew their hive. This is the small cottonwood tree they chose to swarm on while the scout bees went looking for a new home. The bees were so heavy they bent the poor little tree to the ground! They are all safe in a 5 gallon bucket now while we go find another hive for them. Our little bees sure are doing well for having a rough year with not much precipitation. Can't wait to have some honey:-)
